I want to share 12 valuable mini-lessons that I’ve learned so far as an entrepreneur…

These range from mistakes to avoid, to making strategic decisions, of how to get cash flow to come in the fastest, etc.

They are in no particular order…

1. ALWAYS DO MORE THAN IS EXPECTED OF YOU

I learned this at an early age from my Dad. He had a very successful career as a business executive and engineer, and this the core principle that created his success.

You can apply this to your business in many ways… over-delivering to your customers, giving unexpected bonuses to your employees or outsourced workers, and more.

Most people do just the bare minimum. Do more than is expected of you and it will do amazing things for your business.

2. STOP DREAMING AND START DOING

Too many entrepreneurs get caught up in the big dreams of how they will one day be rich and how their life will be amazing…

…but they never end up doing anything.

They buy courses, read all they can, jot down little notes and ideas in a notebook, but nothing ever actually gets created.

A web site doesn’t get made. Advertising isn’t run. Markets aren’t tested. Nothing.

If you want to make a lot of money the only way that happens is getting stuff done. Period.

3. DON’T LET LEARNING DELAY ACTIVITY

Most people that have studied Internet Marketing much already have the basic skills that are needed to build a million-dollar business.

That’s worth REPEATING…

Most people that have studied IM much ALREADY HAVE the basic skills that are needed to build a million-dollar business.

You can get stuck learning new stuff FOREVER. There will always be new methods and techniques that get discovered. The Internet changes on a DAILY BASIS. This is a given.

Don’t get caught in the trap of “I’m going to start building my business right after I go through this next course…”

You can start building your business TODAY while you are studying and learning new things that you can easily apply TOMORROW.

Things will NEVER perfectly align for you and your business. There’s no such thing. So don’t wait. Get started NOW and take action. Get some stuff going and go from there.

4. MULTIPLE IDEAS CAN BE THE KISS OF DEATH

It’s okay to work on multiple projects and ideas. It’s almost impossible to stop entrepreneurs from having tons of new ideas at the same time.

BUT…

No new money comes in the door until you get ONE project launched and making money.

Something has to be launched FIRST.

5. MAKE JUST ONE DOLLAR FIRST

No one has ever made a million dollars in sales without generating $1 first.

ALL successful businesses start with that first sale and then grow from there.

It doesn’t matter what your income goals are. The faster you make your first dollar, the faster you will reach your goals. PERIOD.

6. DO THE IMMEDIATE CASH PROJECT FIRST

What should you work on next? Whatever will bring in cash the fastest for your business — and of course, I mean that in a moral/legal/ethical way.

If you analyze all the great ideas you are probably sitting on, I bet you can realistically prioritize them in the order of which ones would actually make money come in the fastest (if it succeeds.)

THAT is the project you need to focus on.

Cash is the lifeblood of your business (and your life.)

Save some of those “big” ideas for the future. Focus on the ones that stand the best chance of getting new money to come in right away. Once you have some stable ongoing cash flow in your business, then you can take a chance on that project that may take longer to pay off.

7. EMAIL MARKETING KICKS THE CRAP OUT OF EVERYTHING ELSE

When it comes to growing a business online, nothing generates long-term cash flow like an email list of engaged subscribers & customers.

Email marketing is the best way to generate traffic. It’s the best way to ‘recycle’ the same visitors again and again to any of your projects. It’s also the best way to convert prospects into buyers.

RSS, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, BLAH BLAH BLAH

Yes, those methods can generate leads. Yes, those methods can generate some sales. But time and time again little old email marketing kicks their butts — by a long shot.

So make building a list, and a solid relationship with it, a top priority in your business.

8. RUN A LEAN OVERHEAD MACHINE

I can’t stress this one enough.

When you start growing a successful business it’s really easy for your overhead to get out of hand. It’s easy to start hiring a bunch of people and committing to a bunch of expenses.

Take it from me, when you have months where your fixed expenses (doesn’t include advertising, etc.) are well over $100,000/MONTH (and growing) it can put you in a tough position to make healthy profits.

I used to have fixed overhead that high but never again. I realized there were smarter ways to do things.

What you need to realize is that REVENUE doesn’t mean jack squat. It’s your profit (income) that matters.

So while running a $10,000,000/year business (sales) is impressive, I know people running a $1,000,000/year business that nets MORE than the person that owns the $10MM/year business.

It all comes down to your expenses.

Sometimes it certainly DOES take heavy expenses in order to make a lot of money. But that’s not my point…

My point is, your overhead can really get away from you. If your sales experience some dips, and it’s almost guaranteed they will at some point, then you can LOSE YOUR BUTT very quickly.

So add to your overhead as a last resort.

9. MAKE ACCOUNTING A PRIORITY

This is a big mistake that most entrepreneurs make — and I’ve been guilty of it as well.

Keeping the books and doing accounting work is the LAST thing that most entrepreneurs want to mess with. We have more fun by coming up with new ideas and trying to make them grow — not spending hours of our time inputting receipts and figures into QuickBooks.

If you don’t like accounting, immediately pay someone a few bucks to handle it for you. Just make sure your accounting is always up to date. It’s very important.

As an extension of this, make paying your taxes a priority — even if you pay them in advance.

I have paid a small fortune in tax penalties because of being lazy and filing late. And it’s too easy to let one delay turn into another and for the problem to get worse. So make it a priority.

Don’t “rob Peter to pay Paul.” This is a trap most entrepreneurs fall into — again, I’ve been guilty of it in the past myself.

It’s easy to start making a bunch of money and think “I’ll just use this money to make more money instead of paying my taxes on it now and I’ll just pay the taxes later after I’ve made even more money.”

Or the same thinking is applied towards delaying payments to a vendor, or some other expense that needs to get paid.

This is probably the #1 mistake entrepreneurs make that can create problems and a lot of wasted money in paying penalties and interest. So make sure your accounting is taken care of and your taxes get paid on-time for you.

10. DON’T LEASE OFFICE SPACE

(If possible.)

As tempting as this might become if your business starts to grow, avoid it at all costs.

If you’re like me, what will happen is that you will eventually stop going to the office and just work from home where you always were more comfortable anyway. And/or you will end up realizing you really didn’t need it.

Having an “office” is not required to have a successful business. We live in a Digital World now and it’s just not important anymore.

Even if your business grows and you need employees, you still don’t necessarily need an office. There are people out there running $20MM+/year businesses with no office; the employees all just work virtually. This is becoming more and more common.

* There certainly are exceptions to this. My team in the Philippines works out of an office I leased. But they are collaborating on software projects and NEED to work in the same location. And, of course, it’s also very inexpensive.

Most office leases are thousands of dollars per month and usually don’t turn out to be a good use of cash.

11. ALMOST EVERYTHING TAKES LONGER

When creating new projects, or having some software made for you, or having an ebook ghostwritten, or anything else, know that things almost always take more time than originally expected.

This is the #1 reason why you need to act TODAY to start putting things in motion to grow your business. The longer you wait, the more into the future you push your potential of getting money to come in the door.

12. THE MONEY IS IN THE MARKETING

Don’t get caught up in trying to make Web pages and learn HTML, or studying how to create javascript, or learning to master Linux so you can administer your own server, or how to use Photoshop to create little logos, etc.

You can certainly do that stuff if you want, but know that it will most likely just be a HOBBY.

It’s no surprise that some of the most successful entrepreneurs I know are also some of the LEAST TECHNICAL people I know. The main thing they do right is to simply pay others to do all the “nuts & bolts” stuff that makes online business work.

It allows them to spend all their time on the marketing — which is where the money comes from.

*** BONUS LESSON ***

* See how I’m over-delivering as mentioned in the first lesson?

SPENDING TIME ONLINE ISN’T NECESSARILY WORKING ON YOUR BUSINESS

Just because you spend hours a day online doesn’t mean you’re working on your business.

You can do ‘research’ forever and never make a cent.

You need to be spending most of your time on:

# Generating Traffic
# Communicating With Your Customers (i.e. blog, list, etc.)
# Creating Content

Don’t fall into the trap of reading blogs & forums, chatting on Facebook or Twitter, checking stats, reading news, etc. for hours upon hours.

Just know that almost all of that stuff (with rare exception) is LOSING YOU MONEY more than making you money.

If you are willing to be slightly deceptive, and you aren’t too concerned about your reputation long term, then you too could be the next Internet marketing superstar!

Disclaimer: While there are a lot of very honest experts in the world of Internet marketing & I do my best to surround myself with the best of the best, there are also plenty of experts that established their entire career on false income claims and other ugly tactics. Many of these “gurus” are riding a wave of affiliate sales and launches. I’m trying to show you how they did it so you can recognize it when you see it…and if you lack a moral compass, I’m about to give you the blueprint for irresponsible wealth!

Here’s How to be a Rich Internet Marketing Guru in 4 Simple Steps:

Step one: Get a picture of yourself with a big paycheck from Clickbank, Google, Commission Junction etc. It’s not that hard to do if you have some investmentment money. Simply spend as much money as it takes on pay per click ads, Facebook ads, or any other various form of online advertising. Who cares if you have to spend $15,000 in order to make $5,000. All you need is the fat check and a picture of it in your hands. SHORTCUT: If you aren’t worried about the FTC tracking you down (odds are they won’t) you can just take a fuzzy picture like this one and claim that this check is six figures “fat”.

Step two: Develop a step-by-step system revealing your top-secret strategies for raking in fast cash. Actually I’ve just given you a great title for your product. That will sell like crazy I promise. Slick graphics are very important. Be sure to put in a ton of content even if it’s just “filler”. The content doesn’t have to be all that fantastic but there needs to be a lot of it. If you make the price tag high enough you’ll have plenty of JV partners jump on the promotion of your big launch.

Step three: Entice your leads by offering to “give away” some of your best content (if it’s good or not doesn’t matter) in exchange for e-mail addresses. Make sure your claims are hard to verify and deliver your content with authority. Accuracy and honesty are of course optional. The current trend is video. It’s time to build the hype.

Step four: It’s time to put your “exploit” on autopilot! Your refund rate will probably be pretty high on your launch, but there’s no need to mention that fact when you launch your SECOND product which will be the story of how you made $XXX,XXX in one day with your first info-product launch! Reading AuctionBytes: How eBay and Online Merchants Should Optimize for Mobile Shopping

Online merchants are eager to capitalize on the growing popularity of mobile shopping – eBay research showed 60% of sellers are willing to adjust their eBay listings for easier viewing on mobile devices. But according to the National Retail Federation, 65.2% of U.S. retailers don’t have a mobile-specific website. However, merchants can optimize their online product listings for mobile shopping searches.

Structured data and location are the most important things merchants should be thinking about with regard to optimizing their product listings for mobile search, says Ben Saren, Vice President, Marketing at Litle & Co., an authority in card-not-present commerce, transaction processing and merchant services. The mobile web is the same as the desktop web, it’s just a different interface, he said, explaining that mobile relies more heavily on structured content. Good SEO is driven by meta data, such as manufacturer, model number, color, price and other attributes.

“Local” is extremely important to mobile searches too. But what if you’re running a business from your home or a warehouse with no walk-in location? Saren said merchants should still provide location tags – “everyone should be doing local,” he said, but merchants should make it clear to consumers if the item is not available for pick-up.

Nearly three-quarters of eBay sellers responding to a survey felt it was important that shoppers have the ability to browse and buy items on eBay using mobile devices, according to eBay spokesperson Johnna Hoff. eBay has a plethora of mobile apps, and Hoff said all eBay listings across all categories are viewable on the apps.

Hoff provided the following tips on how sellers could better optimize their listings for mobile viewing:

Use descriptive titles:
When shoppers are browsing through a list of items on varying sizes of mobile device screens, yours need to stand out, so keep the title focused on what the item is.

    * Avoid using all caps or symbols
* Avoid using words that shoppers don’t search for like “Wow” or “L@@K”

Use great photos:
Follow eBay guidelines for picture quality and uploading. Keep the picture square so it fits more easily within any mobile device screen. Placing the items on a white background looks professional

Keep your item descriptions to a minimum:
Shoppers are going to read about your item on a relatively small screen, so keep the description to the basics Product Details: You can use Product Details (pre-filled item information if you list an item from our catalog) when available to more quickly fill out your listing information

Respond to questions quickly:
Mobile shoppers may be comparing prices while in a store or need an item urgently, so be as responsive as possible to their questions.

Use Buy It Now with your Auction listings:
Many mobile shoppers are looking to buy an item while shopping. Listing your item in a Buy It Now format (either as a fixed-price item or as an auction item with a Buy It Now option) will attract these shoppers to your items.

Accept PayPal:
Accept PayPal so your buyers can pay/checkout from their mobile devices immediately

Here are five important tips for eBay shippers courtesy of Suzanne Wells, the eBay Selling Coach.

Selling on eBay during the holiday season presents its own unique challenges. Not only is December the busiest selling season, but it can also be very busy in the personal lives of sellers with holiday travels and extra family commitments to take care of. To make this time of year easier, here are some tips to streamline your operations, use eBay features, and stay organized.

Tip #1 – Maximize your sales with Best Offer

To maximize sales, add Best Offer to all store inventory listings where applicable. Best Offer allows customers to offer to purchase your item at a price below your asking price. You may get a higher price for your items than if you use Markdown Manager (a tool you can use to create discounts on your products) and slash your prices by a certain percentage. Remember that times are tough and consumers are on a holiday budget. Buyers may purchase more from you using Best Offer and taking advantage of shipping discounts.

Tip #2 – Let your customers “Buy it Now”

Add Buy it Now to all auctions. Remember, time is of the essence in December. Make sure you do your research and set your Buy It Now price high enough based on historical sales of the same item. As December 25th approaches, buyers may not want to wait for an auction to end in order to get the item in time to give for the holidays. Remember that buyers may be shipping the item to someone else as a gift.

Tip #3 – Know your deadlines

In this recent blog post on USPS holiday shipping deadlines, you will find a chart with shipping deadlines based on different services including domestic and international shipping options. Be sure to familiarize yourself with these deadlines and message order deadline dates to your customers.

Tip #4 – Same day shipping

You may be tempted to spend your time listing more items — specially when the sales are rolling in – but it is critical to provide good service to your customers who have already paid for their items to prevent harming future sales with a neutral, negative, or low DSR rating. If you have enough volume, you may even want to consider bringing in extra help for shipping during December.

Tip #5 – Know your limits and set boundaries

While you certainly want to make the most of the holiday selling season, don’t bite off more than you can chew. If you are selling hot toys and going on 2 AM toy runs to Target and WalMart to buy popular toys as soon as they hit the shelves, remember that we all only have 24 hours in a day. Choose a few hot products to sell and be careful not to take on too much. You will have to pack and ship in addition to listing, operating your eBay business, and getting ready for your own family’s holiday. The holidays are a special family time and you don’t want to be too stressed out trying to make a few hundred extra dollars online. Set personal boundaries for how much time you will spend working on eBay and make sure you enjoy your own holiday season.

Daily writing in a journal.
Many high-performance entrepreneurs swear by the increased clarity they receive from daily thinking and writing within a personal journal.
Thoughts about business, AHA moments, weekly reflection, brainstorming, success reviews, and anything else that’s on your mind are all great topics or categories you can journal about. You could just use the questions below as the jumping-off point for your journal entries. You could simply tackle one question each day… and this way… You will never have to worry about sitting down to a blank page.
Questions Like:
* How do I define personal success?
* How would I describe a life well-lived?
* What is my vision for my life?
* What were the most successful moments in my life?
* What were the biggest failures I’ve experienced? (Describe the lessons I learned)
* What do I really value about my life?
* If I knew I couldn’t fail, what would I attempt to do?
* Who is the real me?
* What am I most grateful for?
* What am I really talented at?
* What relationships in my life do I value the most?
* How much success do I believe is possible for me?
* What are the most unhelpful, limiting beliefs holding me back?
* How do I measure success?
* How can I make today a success?
* Who do I want to be?
* What is it that makes me happy?

I would advise to serious business owners they do this if they are serious about their business. This is by far the best habit you can have as a successful business owner. Do it, and don’t procrastinate or start and then set it aside. I can promise you that it will have a positive impact on your business and your income.

Selling on eBay and Amazon –12 Points of Comparison

Many eBay sellers have wondered if it’s really worth selling on Amazon. Some feel there are too many rules and it wouldn’t be worth the effort. I’ve chosen a dozen points of comparison that may help sellers make a decision. 1. Fees 2. Format (Auction vs. Fixed-price) 3. Community 4. Stability 5. Feedback 6. Branding 7. Photos 8. Taxes 9. Average Sale Price 10. Payment Methods 11. Return Policy 12. Shipping

1. eBay & Amazon Fees

The cost of selling is just about the same. On eBay you pay to list every item regardless of success. You have to consider unsold items, time spent relisting items, and time spent dealing with unpaid items on eBay as a cost. Amazon has no upfront fees, but a higher commission. Advantage: Tie

2. Format (Auction vs. Fixed-price)

Auctions are the best way to get market value for collectibles. eBay is better if you are selling unique items and want the best prices. Most businesses sell “‘practicals,”‘ commodity or everyday items. The market value is easy to determine for these items and buyers prefer and immediate purchase. While Amazon is the fixed-price king, eBay is moving in that direction by downplaying auctions and encouraging fixed-price listings. The advantage is in the buyers. The Amazon buyer is more affluent, and pays a higher average price for products. Advantage: Auctions: eBay Advantage: Fixed-price: Amazon

3. Community

eBay sellers are very involved with eBay buyers. The transactions are very interactive. Amazon buyers and sellers rarely interact. The Amazon buyer tends to expect high customer service and they don’t expect to have to ask if an item has shipped. Because of the higher interaction with customers, eBay sellers have to spend more time per transaction. Amazon transactions take less time. Advantage: Amazon

4. Stability

Online retailers rely on the stability of their chosen platforms to operate smoothly. Changes cost time. Sellers have developed systems that allow them to list, sell, and deliver items. When rules change, or things don’t work, the systems break down and profit is lost.

Amazon has had very few major changes in the past year. Even though there are some restrictions, they generally stay the same, and are enforced consistently. When changes have been made, they tend to stick and sellers can adjust.

eBay has had major changes over the past year, including Feedback, fees, digitally delivered items, search results, Detailed Seller Ratings, eBay’s affiliate program, and more are to be expected. Sellers have been greatly affected in real and perceived ways. Some changes have been rolled out, only to be reversed causing even more consternation among sellers. Advantage: Amazon

5. Feedback

Both eBay and Amazon have a feedback system allowing buyers and sellers to record their impression of a transaction. Both sites allow buyers to leave negative comments for sellers. Both sites allow sellers to leave only positive comments for buyers. The eBay culture has given much more weight to feedback than their Amazon counterpart.

Amazon buyers can see the seller’s feedback score, but tend to overlook it more readily than eBay buyers. Amazon’s A-z Guarantee may have a bearing on this by making the buyer feel more protected when purchasing an item. Amazon does not “‘disadvantage”‘ sellers, as eBay does, by moving them down in the results when shoppers perform a search. eBay does this by considering the seller’s feedback score and making them less visible to shoppers, rather than letting buyers make the choice themselves. Advantage (especially for sellers): Amazon

6. Branding

Amazon restricts sellers from reaching out to buyers and marketing to them. Traditionally, this has been an advantage to eBay since eBay allowed sellers to link to a site off eBay from the seller’s About Me page. Recent changes at eBay have virtually eliminated the ability to use eBay as a lead generating tool for off-eBay business. eBay has all but forbidden any outside links from any eBay pages including custom store pages, and About Me pages. This has effectively neutralized eBay as a “‘branding”‘ tool. Advantage: Tie

7. Photos

eBay sellers have always struggled with photos. How to take good photos, how to get the photos to show up on eBay, how many photos. Each item, no matter if it’s exactly the same as another, gets its own photo on eBay.

Amazon is different. An individual product gets one photo, and one description page, and all sellers use the same page. Generally, the first photo posted on a given product, is the photo everyone will use. Some sellers don’t like the idea of other sellers using their photo. But if “‘one photo fits all”‘ for a particular product, it’s pretty likely that product is a commodity product. Not many photos are needed.

As an Amazon seller, I absolutely love the fact that I can list 20 items without shooting a single photo. It saves a ton of time. Amazon buyers will buy an item without a photo. They know that the image they see is generally just representative anyway. Advantage: Amazon

8. Taxes

Marketplace sellers are responsible for the sales tax on any items sold on Amazon.com, and if necessary, they generally add this cost into the price of their items. This is a pain for Amazon sellers who are running a business.

eBay provides a mechanism in the Sell-Your-Item form to collect the taxes in addition to the sale price. This way the taxes don’t eat into the seller’s profits. It seems Amazon could add a tool like this to their process quite easily for their Marketplace sellers and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it in the future. But until that happens, I’d say… Advantage: eBay

9. Average Selling Price

Amazon buyers have been shown to be more affluent, and more willing to spend more on similar items. eBay buyers tend to look for bargains, and are willing to wait through a seven-day auction to save a buck. As a seller, I’ll pick the buyer that is willing to spend more. I have actually used eBay to source products at rock-bottom prices, that sold for good profit on Amazon. Amazon buyers often don’t even look on eBay, and they ultimately pay more.

Advantage: Amazon

10. Payment Methods

Amazon sellers must use Amazon Payments to accept payment. That’s it. Amazon collects the payment, and deposits it into your bank account twice per month (more often if you choose). They collect and deposit the funds with no fees added.

eBay sellers can accept PayPal or take credit cards and eBay seems poised to require PayPal payments on all transactions. If that happens, it will significantly affect many sellers. If you sell an item for $500, you may now accept non-PayPal payments and keep most of your money. If PayPal is required, you will fork over 2.9% + $.35 ($14.85) in PayPal fees. Amazon sellers do not have to send invoices, payment reminders, or track unpaid items.

If Amazon cannot collect the payment, you don’t have a sale, and your item is still listed on their site. eBay’s system is simply more work, more time, and ultimately costs more to manage as a seller. Advantage: Amazon

11. Return Policy

Some eBay sellers fear Amazon because of their obligatory return policy, called the A-z Guarantee. This guarantee allows the buyer to receive a full refund if the item is “‘materially different”‘ from that described, for up to 90 days. Amazon will usually side with the buyer. Sounds pretty tough.

The eBay seller is free to fight it out with buyers with a dispute resolution. This could ultimately result in negative feedback for the seller. They are not required to offer a refund. If eBay forces sellers to use PayPal for payments though, your funds could be held or you may even receive a charge-back against your account. It’s basically the same difference, but the eBay / PayPal route is a lot messier and time consuming.

If you have a buyer that is determined to get a refund, they’ll generally figure a way to get it. Simply based on the time consuming mess the dispute resolution process is, I’m saying… Advantage: Amazon

12. Shipping

eBay sellers have long looked at shipping charges as a small revenue stream. They bump up shipping prices and skim a little for themselves to cover shipping supplies, labels, and pixie dust. (Okay, I added the pixie dust.) The fact is, many sellers have turned this legitimate charge into a way to avoid eBay fees. eBay has now begun penalizing sellers who charge above average shipping amounts by lowering their visibility in the default search results. They are even giving breaks to sellers who offer free shipping, in effect hurting those sellers who cannot afford it.

Amazon gives sellers a “‘shipping credit”‘, based on an item’s category. This does not always cover the full shipping amount, but usually does. The amount is fixed by Amazon. You cannot ask for more from the customer, and even if the shipping credit does not cover your shipping costs, you must ship the item. Since the shipping credit is fixed, it can be figured in when setting your price.

Which is better? I like to have control over my shipping. But if a seller is careful, it’s pretty easy to figure in the shipping credit on Amazon and not lose money. Even if there is a loss, it’s minimal. I have found items I wanted on eBay, only to leave because of the outrageous shipping charges. ($1.99 item + $10.99 shipping for a cell phone cover.) I go straight to Amazon, because I know shipping is standard and I won’t feel ripped off. How many other buyers do the same? I’ll take those buyers… Advantage: Amazon

Summary

There is no question eBay is best for some items, while Amazon is best for others. But the overlap is incredibly large. The vast majority of items that sell on Amazon will also sell on eBay, and visa versa. The important thing to remember is the shoppers are different. While you and I may shop on several sites, many Amazon shoppers are very loyal to Amazon and won’t even visit eBay.

Some eBayers feel it would be a sin to shop on Amazon. By selling on both sites, you are potentially getting millions of additional eyeballs on your products. If you are avoiding Amazon because you think there are too many rules – take a look at eBay’s User Agreement. eBay is moving closer to Amazon’s model, in many ways. Like it or not, this is the wave of the future. Will you be ahead of the game, or will you be playing catch-up?

Pay-to-play…

AdWords used to be as easy as putting in your money into the Google cash machine… where your ads shot to the top… and you were in the game.

Today… not so much. If you want to play, it’s becoming more and more important… really vital… that your WEBSITE qualifies.

Google no longer just looks at your account… your landing pages… BUT now your entire website.

We have even seen from our own testing (not confirmed with Google)… that off-site search engine optimization (getting high-quality links to your site with the right anchor text) appears to have a dramatic effect on your quality score.

Of course… you may love your existing website… it took a lot of work to create… and you don’t want to start over. At the same time, you want to tap into the Google goldmine.

Well, the good news is you DON’T have to start over… or pay a sizable amount to get a new site made.

You see, here’s our secret when we need an AdWords site quick. It’s just one word: WordPress… a free blog from http://www.wordpress.org.

In other words… whenever you launch a new project (or for existing ones)… you simply create a new blog to go along with it JUST for your AdWords advertising.

Here’s what then might go inside of it:

    * 5-7 blog posts with unique valuable content built around your keywords
* Put your posts in 3-5 categories based on your keywords
* Include your privacy, terms of service, contact information, and site map
* Create a top menu as part of the header for easy navigation
* Create a sales landing page to collect contact information/leads. At the end of this page, link to your 5-7 blog posts.
* Optimize your posts and landing page (to a lesser degree) for your top keywords

Finally, focus on generating links to your new blog and landing pages with press releases, articles, and your other favorite link generating strategies. Over time, you’ll want to create new landing pages optimized for top performing keywords.

And there you have it. A simple way to get a “Google Happy” site quickly. One last caveat is that you want to take your time building your site to ensure you provide quality content and your sales-oriented page is designed to convert.

I wanted to mention a few things that can alter your mindset and attract the success and the positive things you want out of your life and your business. In a way that you can turn it on like a faucet.

First off, Be a constant learner and a person who thrives on positive energy, results and taking action.

Here are some action steps from a guy I know who actually won a Superbowl playing for the New England Patriots. If this doesn’t wire your mind for success I don’t know what would. Setema Gali unveils the real conspiracy?

Also check out Jim Cockrum’s blog/ newsletters and books. Jim is rated the number one most trusted and highest rated online marketing expert in the world. In this blog he teaches on the importance of “Leverage and Influence” Its a good little nugget of info.
